Lead Generation for Construction & the Built Environment

BITA Construction Networking Lunch

BITA Construction Networking Lunch

On 27th October 2017, Crannull were the proud sponsors of the Construction Networking Lunch held by the British Irish Trading Alliance. The event, one of four hosted each year, was held at the private members club, The Lansdowne, located on Fitzmaurice Place, Mayfair, London.

The British Irish Trading Alliance (BITA) was launched in the summer of 2012 when President Paul Whitnell relocated to the UK. Paul spent a great deal of time creating relationships between the British and Irish businesses he came into contact with and decided that a united body made up of skilled professionals would be much more effective than working solo. Paul set about forming a foundation that could help nurture these relationships, and today BITA Patrons include construction giants (Ray O’Rourke, Chairman of Laing O’Rourke and Sean Mulryan, founder of Ballymore Group) as well as entrepreneurs and successful business owners.
Crannull is passionate about building relationships and business opportunities for their clients in the construction industry as it is at the heart of their core business values. Sponsoring an event such as this is the perfect platform for them to highlight the need to look at new ways to win clients across the built environment.  Company Director, Tom Fitzgerald gave a speech at the lunch which focused on how a specialist lead generation company like Crannull can lay the foundations for new business relationships, helping their clients to sell their products and services to the right people and the right projects. Lead generation is specialist work, and it is hard work. Utilising a company that specialises in this area and employs staff with the skillset that is needed to successfully get your business in front of the right people is the first step to a building a successful business network. With over 20 years experience in the construction industry and one of the founder members of Crannull, Tom knows more than most how hard it is to build up your business network.
The BITA Construction Networking lunch is a popular event, and on Friday 148 people from all areas of the construction industry had the opportunity to meet other decision makers from construction, accounting, legal, design and architectural companies. Tickets for the lunch were sold out a month in advance of the event and representatives from companies large and small attended. The event itself is relaxed and enjoyable, allowing people to meet prospective industry contacts in a less formal environment. Good food and drink is a great way to forge new relationships and find a common interest with fellow professionals that could lead to new business opportunities. After a fantastic lunch and the opportunity to meet their fellow attendees, the event moved on to the King’s Head in Stafford Street, where the fun continued.

James and Tom had the opportunity to meet many new contacts from the construction industry who were both impressed and interested in the work the company does. With an enormous understanding of the struggles facing both ‘buyers and sellers’ in the construction industry in trying to source the right products and services to fulfil the complicated remit facing construction projects today, many attendees have been able to see the opportunities and doors that Crannull can help them open to grow their businesses. Crannull is proud to sponsor these events and to have an opportunity to help businesses grow and contribute to shaping the landscape of our future. We look forward to seeing many more of our industry colleagues at the next event, which is due to take place on 26th January 2018. These events are so popular that tickets sell out fast, so if you are looking for an opportunity to meet new contacts, book now to avoid disappointment. https://www.bita.ie/event/detail/construction-networking-lunch-26th-january.html
