Tom William Fitzgerald - Director

Tom has a wealth of experience in the construction industry that spans more than 20 years, both in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Having left school at 16, Tom went on to work at his father’s construction company, learning the fundamental skills of the construction industry and gaining valuable hands-on experience. Tom moved to Ireland in 2004 to search for a new challenge and was presented with an opportunity to join a construction recruitment company. This was new to him, but with his outgoing personality, knowledge of the construction industry and determination, he flourished in his new role. Whilst working with all these organisations, Tom spotted a trend and a missing link in their sales approach and this provided the foundations for a new business.

James Patrick Maguire – Director

James was brought up within the construction industry and prior to graduating from university he spent many summers working on site with Byrne Bros, giving him a great understanding of how this sector operated. With a degree in business studies, James was originally going to pursue a career in accountancy. However taking a temporary sales job highlighted a natural ability in corporate sales, which later turned into a permanent role.

After returning from a stint travelling, James accepted a position in the vehicle funding/fleet management industry, where he was able to combine his financial and sales skills. James had a successful 11 years in the industry, progressing to head of sales within a major plc before leaving to set up Crannull along with Tom Fitzgerald.

Bernard Lee Christie - Business Development Manager

Bernard graduated from university in 2011, joining Crannull as their first employee. When Bernard started he was trained on how the construction industry and built environment operated and initially became responsible for generating opportunities for two clients. Bernard showed a natural ability in communicating on the telephone, and as the company expanded he became the team leader. In 2014, Bernard was promoted to his new role as business development manager and is responsible for identifying and selling the services of Crannull to new clients.

Tom Deacon - Service Delivery & Performance Manager

Tom joined Crannull in July 2014 after graduating with a business degree from university. When Tom started he was tasked with generating opportunities for a number of clients. His personable approach allowed him to service and retain a number of clients which are still with the business today. Over time Tom developed a strong understanding of the construction industry and what satisfies our clients. This led to him being promoted to his new role of service delivery and performance manager where he is responsible for ensuring we deliver on the sales strategy agreed by the client services manager. This includes everything from quality checking the opportunities created for our clients to building customer databases for our sales activities.

Jake Clarke - Client Services Manager

Jake joined Crannull in 2012 from college. At the beginning, Jake was responsible for generating clients opportunities, working as part of a small, yet growing team. After a few years of consistent performance, having a strong work ethic and the willingness to learn, Jake developed great leadership qualities which resulted in him becoming one of Crannull’s team leaders. In 2015, Jake was promoted into his current role of Client Services Manager and is now responsible for the on-boarding and implementation of new clients, management of client relationships and client success.
